Using Door Cuffs for Easy Bondage: Sir Richards Door Cuffs
How to use a door cuff
Door cuffs are intended to allow for vertical bondage and elevated sex without needing to buy a more expensive sex swing or installing any hardware. Door cuffs don't damage your property or require a lot of space to use and store. This makes them perfect for rented places.
When you first open your door cuff set, you'll notice that each cuff is attached to a strap that ends with a bar or tube. Installation is easy. Simply lay the bar end over the top of your open door so that the cuffed end is on the side of the door where you will have sex. This step may be easier with the help of a second person. Repeat this for the second strap, then close the door.
Note that door cuffs should work with most doors but may not if yours is especially tight in the frame.
To use door cuffs, the person who will be bound stands inside the closed door and reaches up. You can then adjust the height of the cuffs to be comfortable during use. When you're ready to use the cuffs, you can stand either facing the door or away from it. Some cuffs have clips (as with the Sir Richard's Command door cuffs) that allow you to bring the wrists closer together during use, or you may prefer to keep them more spread.
Over-the-door cuffs can be used for a couple of activities:
Oral sex with the receiver bound and facing away from the door
Penetrative sex (anal or vaginal) with the receiver bound and facing the door or facing away; their legs will be lifted or wrapped around the giver's waist
When you're comfortable with door cuffs, you might want to add other bondage elements such as blindfolds or ball gags. Fortunately, we sell both at Romantix. Contact us if you'd like a recommendation based on your skill level. We're happy to help!
